The Catholic Thing’s Pilgrimage/Study Tour

You are invited to join The Catholic Thing on a pilgrimage through the Eternal City, Assisi and Norcia.

In addition to touring these wonderful cities you will have an opportunity to listen to and meet TCT contributors and friends, for a week of Catholic culture and discussions with leading journalists and writers.

October 24 – November 1, 2015
(we begin begin the day the 2015 Synod on the Family ends)

TOUR: For details on the hotel, meals, daily travel plans, transportation to and from the airport and more please view attached brochure.

On the programmatic side, we have some interesting events planned in addition to the touring.

Monday, we’ll have a private panel discussion for you with some distinguished journalists, and myself, on the Synod that will have just concluded the previous day:

Andrea Gagliarducci, MondayVatican
Edward Pentin, National Catholic Register
Francis X. Rocca, Wall Street Journal

Wednesday, we’ll be talking about the encyclical on the environment:

Prof. Flavio Felice, Lateran University
Thomas D. Williams, Breitbart
Robert Royal, TCT

Day TBD, we’ll have a session on the present and future prospects of the Church around the world:

Ben Harnwell, founder, Dignitatis Humanae Institute, on Europe
Brad Miner, The Catholic Thing, on America
George Marlin, Aid to the Church in Need USA, on the Middle East

These are all very experienced and highly skilled commentators. I hope you will join us. And we may have some further surprise visitors for you before we are done.

The first thing to do, however, is to register for the program – as soon as possible.

RESERVATIONS: Click here to view the brochure and follow the instructions to register or call Diana George directly at the travel agency (313-565-8888, ext. 180 or 121). Please do not call Faith & Reason Institute or contact The Catholic Thing about travel; much as we’d like to help, we won’t have any information on that side of things.

There is a limited number of places in a small study/tour group like this one, so your early registration will assure you of a place in this program at one of the crucial moments in the Church’s recent history.

We look forward to being with you all in Rome this Fall.
