3,500 delegates – invited from dioceses around the country – have gathered at the four-day convocation near Disney World to assess the challenges and opportunities of our time, particularly in the context of the Church in the United States. In addition to laypeople attending, there are 150 bishops, including Cardinal Timothy Donald and Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Parolin.
