An organization of vegetarian activists, researchers, and celebrities is asking Pope Francis not to eat any meat during Lent. A bribe of $1 million is offered if the pope agrees. The 12-year-old behind the request expressed admiration for the pope for “speaking out on climate change, habitat loss, and pollution, and for reminding the world that Earth is a home we all share.”
