A survey conducted by the papal charity Aid to the Church in Need USA reveals that 46 percent of U.S. Catholics are severely concerned about persecution, up from only 30% last year. The survey also found that 58% of Catholics are “very concerned” about the plight of Christians around the globe, up from 41% last year.
