It is just that in a week in which the Pope is savaged in Israel for not saying "Nazis", "Germans" or "Six"(million), when he calls for a separate State for Palestine, when two American Jews have espionage charges dropped against them (NOT because they are not guilty) and the media (except the NY Times) doesn't even mention it, I would think there are plenty of subjects for Catholics to review and discuss which have an immediate impact on us. Lawrence Franklin, a Catholic who is a high ranking U.S. Govt. employee, is serving 12 years in a Federal prison for passing intelligence to Messrs Rosen and Weissman, formerly of AIPAC, who were scheduled to be tried for espionage next month. They were told just before the big AIPAC Dinner, which over half the Congress attended, that the charges would be dropped. The truth is more important than tilting at windmills. - William H.
