			<description>Fr. Bramwell: What a wonderful and constructive essay. Thank You. But I do take exception with one sentence in it, namely, when you object to the &quot;sentimental idea&quot; of the priest as a &quot;friend.&quot; Perhaps, in some narrow sense of that word 'friend,' you are right.  But, at the very least, the best priests I know are friendly, warm, welcoming, hospitable...This does not necessarily make them my &quot;friends,&quot; but it does warm the heart, and makes everything that they say and do more meaningful - John McCarthy</description>
