The Enlightened of whom Mark writes do not care a fig for the rights of homosexuals or of racial minorities or of women. Those issues are only being used to discredit Christianity and anything connected with The Christian view of man. The EO's are totalitarians who are only using these as wedge issues, tyring to ultimately outlose the teaching of relgion as against progress. They don't insist on the doctrainre promotion of Dawinsim because only that will ensure, as they preposterously claim, medical progress, but becuase they will do anything to eliminate faith in God, the only thing that stands between mankind and an all-powerful state. Homosexuals and others being used to discredit relgion should ask themseleves how their confreres are treated in totalitarian lands like Cuba, North Korea, China, etc. It isn't pretty. The EO's are just using them. And what of the Catholics who fawn over the EO's and ensure that their parishes and colleges are are "gay freindly"? Whose side are they on? - Thomas C. Coleman, Jr.

Interesting, but very much preaching to the choir. So-called progressives are among the enlightened few that truly understand what is best for everyone. If someone disagrees with progressive understanding, then he opposes the Enlightened Ones and, therefore, is wrong and quite probably dangerous to society. Who could possibly object to dangerous people being censured? - Mark
