I connect this with a recent column by George Marlin on the "French Revolution and The Church," and the insightful comment by Richard A, that Jesus commanded The Church to be "on offense" against the forces of evil and disintegration, and Jesus promised that "the gates of hell" cannot withstand the force of the Church.
