I have a club buddy who will not have a discussion with me, a female of 72 years...so nothing is resolved with her. I went around her and submitted an issue at the meeting and got attention for my issue which is what I wanted anyway.

When I start talking about an issue, at say, the coffee hour, she just walks away. No one else is around so she just walks away. I just share my frustration with one or two trusted buddies who will not leak my rage (oh, no, women are not supposed to get angry!) and push the rage out of my mind through joining a walking club!

Talking with a man I get a much different response to a topic of my concern, but I wish women were more like men! and would deal with topics. I need to widen my acquaintances and friends and forgive the other women and me for our ways of dealing with topics. And be grateful for what I have...at least a person whom I have touched enough that she lets me know by walking away.....no resolution in sight with her......Patricia from city unknown - Patricia Cornell
