Beautifully written from a man of faith, a physician/scientist, but most importantly a loving father. “We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

In the 1960s, I played tournament chess and I became friendly with a physician who was older than I. One evening. he, an attorney friend of his and I went out for coffee. The subject of abortion came up (the lawyer supported it) but the doctor objected stating that he knew from his training that the following data was determined at the moment of conception; the gender, the color of the eyes, the color of the skin; if male, when he would begin to bald, genetic predispositions and the probable longevity.
He could not support abortion as a result of his knowledge.
Dr. Milton Danon is deceased now but you should google him up. In additition to being the Amateur Chess Champion you will learn how he eventually earned his livelihood. - Manfred
