<description>I wanted to share a little of my experience about Faith and how I came to it.

A few years ago, I lost everything, I mean everything. The work I loved so much, I felt guilty being paid for it and a family I loved so much, that I would have given even my life for them. In this desperate situation, I got nearly drunk trying to deal with the pain and in this state, I cried out to the Lord and begged Him to take my wife and I to his repair shop in Heaven, fix us up and put us back on Earth for the sake of ourselves and our children whom we both love.

Yes, it has been a long 7 year journey which started on a day I went to my sister who knew about my state and she had arranged for me to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at a Charismatic Group of which she ia a member. That day began my Faith Journey and what a journey it has been. Overnight,my desperation left and I looked forward to each day, not just the morning but all 24 hours of it. My prayers were no longer a prayers from prayer books, but, prayers of a little child. In the beginning, I did not notice the little things that I received. Then one day, while sitting around taking stock of the past several weeks, I realized all my child-like prayers had been answered. Every Single One!

Now, I am quite comfortable asking God for almost everything. I say, almost, because I am still exploring my limits. Just yesterday, I thought how wonderful it would be to hear the sound of my youngest child's voice. Lo and behold, within 10 seconds of completing the thought, my phone rang and it was my child calling to ask me if I could pick him up because he wanted to spend the day with me! Today, I, with complete confidence, asked the Lord for the whole shebang: To restore our family, all fixed up and I know, not just hope, that it will happen soon!

The key is what Jesus told his apostles when they tried to shoo the children away: Suffer the children to come unto me, for theirs' is the Kingdom of God. This has always been my favorite scripture since the time of preparation for my First Communion when I was about 7. I did not realize it was this simple, but I had had to lose everything first to get here.
