			<description>This is a fabulous piece and thank you for it.  I would like to make the precision that a married person makes his/her gift of self to God through the irrevocable gift of self to one's spouse and to the children that God may send, which gift God raises to the dignity of a sacrament.   Celibacy is the higher path; but marriage is the ordinary path to holiness and eternal salvation for the immense majority of people on earth.  I'd say that what makes celibacy higher is that the gift to God is unmediated by a sanctified earthly love, whereas in marriage the challenge, and the gift, is to ratify by the love of the spouses each for the other and for the offspring God may send the love God shows them in bringing them each to the other.
