I am a mediocre Catholic in all things save this -- in 2008 I withstood the slings and arrows of the "hater chorus" to vote against this president's war on the right to be born. - Graham Combs

Brilliant as usual. If we were a sane country Hadley Arkes would be president instead of the current Baby Killer in Chief.

I sometimes think about how my country has murdered who knows how many million children and then I pinch myself but it's true, I really am here in hell.

Perhaps that's why it feels like living in Sodom here in San Francisco--if I'm being honest and impolite to the sensibilities of fat Americans who'd still, after all these years, like to forget more than live decent lives. (I wonder if God will be so proud that someone hit a home run at work or that their kids went to a good college that he'll say: "no biggie on standing by silent while your society went about murdering ten million of my children! Life really is just a game and it only matters if you win whatever little part makes you happy, Oprah was right!")
