I was honored to know Mike personally, to share a lunch from time to time with. He was all this and more. May we honor his legacy with our lives daily. RIP, Sir. Please cheer us all, specifically me, on from the cloud of witnesses. I can't wait to see you in Eternity! - Melissa Ortiz

Good-bye Mike and Blessed as you were, you shall be. We still need those Catholic heroes (not quite saints, as we talked about). I will speak with you again soon. - John Hinshaw

Fire of Conviction! Fire of Love! Son of Thunder indeed!

It sounds to me as if this holy man stood at the Foot of the Cross for a great many years.
i pray he is welcomed by St. John the Beloved, St. Mary Magdalene, and our Beloved Mother into the very Presence of the One Who even made known while yet unborn the Truth that He is LIFE Himself.
"Well Done thou Good and Faithful servant!"
Mike Schwartz, pray for us!

thank you for this, Austin! - debby

Thank you for this fine eulogy. Mr. Ruse. I did meet Michael Schwartz many decades ago (he smoked a pipe as I recall) at a meeting of the Roman Forum, a group in the NY-NJ area founded by Howard Walsh and William Marra, Ph.D.+.
He was forceful and direct and he instilled confidence and hope in the audience. He was quite refreshing. - Manfred
