Thank God for the Pittsburgh Christian Leaders Fellowship! I was wondering if Catholic & other Christian groups could begin a "movement" for every faith-filled, God-loving family to display a Nativity on their property, even as modest as a picture in the window,& win over the culture by our love for Him? Many already do, but wouldn't it be great if we could get a simple movement going to express CHRIST in Christmas on our own "property?" - Debby

More Mencken

In re Christmas supression, to borrow another Menckenism, we migh be yelling up the wrong rainspout. We describe the symptoms and speak as if the pathogen appeared through spontaneous generation. Anti-Christians carp about homophobia and such to trick their followers. Does anyone really think that with the collapse of the Soviet Union Communists the world over rushed to be baptized? Quite the opposite! You scoff? I just met a US Navy Chaplain who calls himself a neo-Marixst! - Thomas C. Coleman, Jr.

For the record, there is a life-size replica of the Vatican crèche displayed in front of the USX Building every year here in Pittsburgh. The display began in 1999 and is organized by the Christian Leaders Fellowship. - W. Schrift
