This reminded me of something I read by Edith Stein. She talks about how holiness- and thus being opposed to evil and sin- can cause people to love others more. A holy person is compelled to love others because they recognize just how bad sin is, how good God is, and they see God in others. It is amazing to discover these secondary effects of a closer relationship with God. I pray that as we respond to God's love, we may be transformed to love- our work, our families, and our communities. - Charlie
