Phil Robertson took a lot of criticism over his comments about homosexuality in an interview with Esquire magazine: the A&E network suspended him, GLAAD excoriated him, and an ocean of ink was spilled all over him, but it was the TV execs, the gay lobby, and the secular theocracy that took the heat.
