The Holy Father’s new book (in which his controversial comments concerning condoms appear) is a long interview with journalist Peter Seewald, who says the pope is “like hard wood when it comes to the basic tenets of the faith, but he is also a shepherd, even more sensitive, humble and wiser now.”
