"We fail against love of neighbor when we let spoil in ourselves the sole treasure we are in a position of transmitting to men: faith, hope, love for Christ. If we want to preserve this treasure and make it bear fruit both within and outside ourselves, then the more we are open to the plight and needs of our time, the more traditional must we be in the religious sphere."
