National Geographic has posted a feature article on Pope Francis with snippets of interviews with the Pope’s circle of close friends. These shed much light on his plans and strategy for the future of the Church, and suggest that Pope Francis, far from being spontaneous and guileless, carefully plans the things he says and does.
