Britain: “nones” now outnumber believers

Our_Lady_from_Westminster_Cathedral_FacebookA new survey conducted in May by St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, London, shows that 48 percent of people in Britain follow no religion at all. Some 44 percent report themselves as Christian, and about 8 percent  follow other religions, including Islam. This means that, for the first time in recorded history, there are more nonbelievers than Christians in the UK.
