A year after the release of Amoris laetitia, a document that has caused, in Cardinal Burke’s own words, “a very harmful confusion in the Church,” we are still waiting for an official defense of the Church’s traditional teaching on marriage, family, Catholic sexual ethics, and sacramental discipline.
