Many of those who’ll be speaking at college graduations this year say they’ll avoid mentioning President Trump or otherwise engaging in political commentary. As Anthony Esolen, who’ll be speaking at Hillsdale College, puts it, politics is fine in a commencement speech – “if you are talking about Edmund Burke or Tocqueville or Aristotle.’’
