The University of Notre Dame has announced that it will fund “simple contraceptives” through its insurance plan. In a February 7 in a letter, the university’s president, Holy Cross Father John I. Jenkins, stated that while ND is “unwavering” in its Catholic fidelity, the school cannot impose Catholic views on the university community.
