The long battle over where Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen’s body should be interred took another turn on Tuesday, when a New York appeals court ruled that his remains should stay in New York – at least for now – overturning [1] a lower court decision that would have immediately sent the archbishop’s body to Peoria, IL, the diocese handling the cause for Sheen’s sainthood.
