According to a recent survey taken by America magazine, women are increasingly disengaging from the life of the Church, in part because they feel left out of decision making. Whether or not that is true, Bishop Barron writes, “we still have a lot to do to address the problems of sexism and misogyny in the Church,” although “we have indeed made a good deal of progress.”
