In an interview with the journalist Philip Pullella, the Holy Father says he didn’t hear of the questions sent in a letter to him by four cardinals until he read it in a newspaper – meaning either the letter never reached him or he forgot about it. Further, he says the publication of the four questions by the cardinals was “let’s say, not ecclesial.”
