The painful question: is it true?

A young journalist from The Washington Post went to the current McCarrick residence to ask about the questions recently raised about who knew what and when. The result: “After I left, a representative from the Washington archdiocese called my editor to complain about my presence.” So is the archdiocese involved in some sort of interference in seeking answers to questions?
