The Archbishop Emeritus of La Plata, Héctor Aguer, has said that some dioceses in the home nation of Pope Francis have a “high” proportion of homosexual clergy. They do not “come out of the closet,” he said, and they “constitute a kind of lodge or lobby, even those who are ‘non-practising’.”
