Although a Vatican spokesman says using the yuca plant instead of wheat to make the bread for Holy Communion will not be on the agenda at October’s Amazon summit, any such suggestion must be opposed vehemently as such exotic and highly dubious ideas become daily fare in an era of weaponized ambiguity.
