SCOTUS decides two abortion cases

The U.S. Supreme Court weighed in on two different aspects of Indiana abortion laws on Tuesday. The Court upheld a requirement that fetal remains be properly disposed of but refused to rule on a law, struck down by a lower court, that banned abortions based on the gender, race, or a diagnosis of Down syndrome. But Justice Thomas noted that the time is coming when the Court will have to address abortion restrictions. [1]
