Ontario euthanizes more than 700 in six months 

According to official data, the Canadian province reported 774 “assisted deaths” in the first six months of 2019. 1499 assisted deaths in were reported there in all of 2018. Throughout Canada, euthanasia increased by more than 50% in 2018 from 2704 reported cases in 2017 to 4235 in 2018. ^[1]
