Anti-Catholicism at Notre Dame Nicolas Abouchedid, The Irish Rover Tuesday, October 1, 2019 An unauthorized sign with the words, “There is Queer Blood on Homophobic Hands,” was placed outside DeBartolo Hall. The sign contained many articles from the Irish Rover and the Observer which reflect Catholic doctrine regarding human sexuality, implying that the authors were responsible for the deaths of “queer” people nationwide. Notre Dame officials have refused to condemn it. © 2023 The Catholic Thing. All rights reserved.
