Argentine and British bishops exchanged statuettes of the Virgin Mary in a powerful sign of reconciliation 37 years after the Falklands War between the two nations, in a ceremony on Wednesday led by Pope Francis. The original statue of the Virgin, abandoned by Argentine troops and taken back to England, was given back by the Brits. The Argentines replaced it with a copy that will go to England. [1]
