An appeal whose signatories include Cardinals Robert Sarah, Joseph Zen and Gerhard Müller, and Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas, has been released expressing concern about measures being implemented to stem the coronavirus pandemic, and calling for “inalienable rights of citizens and their fundamental freedoms” to be respected.
