SCOTUS bans LGBT employment discrimination
By a vote of 6 to 3, with Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Neil Gorsuch joining the court’s liberal wing, the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday ruled that employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity is prohibited under federal civil-rights law.
