Tennessee’s Republican governor, Bill Lee, signed an omnibus pro-life bill into law Monday that bans abortion once a fetal heartbeat is detected and includes a range of other abortion restrictions and conditions. However, it has already been enjoined from taking effect by a lawsuit sponsored by pro-abortion groups, including Planned Parenthood and the ACLU.
