Of all the virtues that good work can bring about, meekness is the one that is highlighted by the Lord Jesus in the Beatitudes. Meekness is a level-headed, clear understanding and acceptance of who we are and where we stand in relation to God, our world, and our neighbor. It shows us ourselves spiritually the way a mirror shows us ourselves physically.
