At least one Catholic leader, Syriac Catholic Patriarch Ignace Joseph III Younan, thinks if the visit should have been postponed “to a more propitious moment, in order to motivate and involve a greater number of Christians, oppressed and close to despair for a long time in Iraq.” [1]
