The U.S. Department of Education has reversed its previous opposition to the State of Connecticut’s policy of allowing biological males to play girls’ sports. Just last year, the Trump administration sided with a lawsuit that the state’s policy violated Title IX (meant to provided equal opportunity for girls and women in sports)—but has now withdrawn that stance under the new Biden administration.
