As conservatism wanes with the rise of illiberal liberalism, conservatives should defend the human goods threatened by liberal ideas taken to extremes: the family, traditional religion, local community and local knowledge, artistic and intellectual greatness, and the individual talent of the entrepreneur or businessman.
