Mahony baloney on Eucharistic Coherence

Roger Cardinal Mahony, archbishop-emeritus of Los Angeles, tells Vatican News that the document on Eucharistic coherence under consideration by the bishops meeting in Baltimore, is “totally unnecessary,” and claims the document is “intended primarily to go after and penalize Catholic legislators.” Only, it wasn’t. And why is the Vatican interviewing a man with a dismal record on child protection and clerical discipline?
