A new book, What Remains of the Papacy, written by Vatican expert Francesco Grana, will be launched in Rome today. A leading papabile, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, will join in the event. It may be an attempt to promote Cardinal Zuppi, a favorite of Pope Francis, as his logical successor. But as the famous Rome saying goes, “He who enters the conclave as pope, leaves it as a cardinal.” [1]
