Poland aids Ukrainian refugees

St. John Paul II’s historic diocese in Poland is at the forefront of humanitarian aid for the countless women and children in search of a safe place to stay. In just over a week, Poland has welcomed a wave of over 700,000 refugees. The Polish state and municipalities have not skimped on supporting these battered Ukrainians, but the Church remains on the front line of assistance, seeking to discern and respond to the many individual needs.
