Cardinal George Pell has called on the CDF to publicly “intervene and pronounce judgment” on comments made by Cdl. Jean-Claude Hollerich, relator general of the Vatican Synod on Synodality, and Bishop Georg Bätzing, German Bishops’ Conference president, both of whom have called for changes to Church teaching on homosexuality.
