Boy Scouts reach deal with Catholics

A committee representing several Catholic groups in a Boy Scouts of America (BSA) bankruptcy case has settled with the Scouts and withdrawn its objections to a proposed BSA reorganization plan. The Church seeks to avoid liability in Scouting-related sex-abuse cases.
