Ecumenical dialogue is now strongly influenced by the situation in Ukraine. Before the war, there was already an Orthodox schism, and the Russian Patriarch Kirill had hoped another meeting with Pope Francis (in Jerusalem) would strengthen his prestige in Orthodoxy. That is now very unlikely.
