Will Rome settle the Communion debate?

Abp. Cordileone has banned Nancy Pelosi from receiving the Eucharist in San Francisco; Cardinal Gregory will likely allow her to in Washington, D.C. Unless other bishops impose similar bans in their dioceses, it may not have much effect. Will Rome act? Probably not.
