SCOTUS rejects COVID conscience objection

By a 6-3 vote, the Supreme Court has rejected a challenge to New York’s vaccine mandate for health care workers that permits no religious exemption. In dissent, Justice Clarence Thomas argued that since the mandate allows for medical exception, not to allow one for conscience is punitive.
