A September 17, 2022 pilgrimage from Arlington, VA to Washington, D.C. will mark the 15th anniversary of Summorum Pontificum, Pope Benedict XVI’s 2007 apostolic letter concerning the Church’s traditional liturgical rites. Organizers say the march is a “public act of sorrow” over recent “devastating new restrictions” on the celebration of the old Mass.
